Thai yoga is comprised of slow rhythmic compression along the energy lines of the body.
While stretching and providing joint-opening movements which assist the body into yoga positions.
During the session, the client is asked to wear comfortable workout clothing. The client lays on the center of a comfortable futon mat on the floor, while listening to meditation music.
The practitioner uses their thumbs, palms, feet, elbows, and knees to press, pull and stretch, guiding the client into various assisted yoga postures, while remaining focused on their own body-center. In certain areas of tension, pressure is applied and kept until the point of a release of the tissue.
